Amazonite is a beautiful semi opaque blue-green variety of microcline feldspar. Though its name ‘Amazon Stone’ would correlate to origin, no known deposits of Amazonite have been found near that area. However, this gorgeous milky white with blue-green crystal can be found in the US, Australia, Madagascar, and Brazil. *In skull form, Amazonite works to enhance and balance the Thymus Chakra.

Lapis Lazuli is a rich blue mineral that has a long history of use, going back thousands of years. Coming from a region in Afghanistan, it is a metamorphic rock that has been prized since antiquity. Pharaohs of Egypt were adorned by the beautiful stone, and were buried with relics made from this mineral. It was also ground down as used as a pigment ‘(ultramarine’) for fine oils produced by famous artists of that time. Lapis is also found in other areas of around the world, but Afghanistan Lapis is known for its deep mineral rich blue colors.
