Onyx is a mineral stone that has been used since ancient times. The word Onyx comes from the Greek word ὄνυξ which means ‘Fingernail’ or ‘Claw’. A member of the Chalcedony family, it has been used throughout history for its beautiful smooth texture and movement, designed into sculptures, jewelry, eating utensils, decor, and used by Warriors during ancient times to promote, protect and strengthen during battle.
